Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Custom Website Projects (New Builds & Revamps)
A 50% deposit is required to begin all custom website projects. This secures your project slot and covers consultation, planning, research, and initial setup.
Cancellation Terms
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, fees will apply based on the stage of completion:
• Consultation and administrative preparation only – 10% cancellation fee
• Project setup, planning, or initial design started – 15–25% cancellation fee
• Substantial work completed – charges will reflect the value of work performed
Any remaining portion of the deposit may be refunded after deducting completed work and applicable cancellation fees.
No refunds will be issued for completed or delivered projects.
2. Pre-Designed Website Packages
Pre-designed websites are non-refundable once the website has gone live or final files have been delivered.
These websites are built using licensed tools under our developer account. Clients do not receive individual license keys unless otherwise stated.

• Cancellation within 24 hours of payment may qualify for a refund minus administrative and banking fees
• If work has been scheduled but not started – up to 50% refund may apply
• Once work has commenced – no refunds are available
3. Hosting Services
Website hosting services provided by VWP Designs (Value WordPress Designs) are billed on a monthly basis.
Once a hosting period has commenced, hosting fees are non-refundable.
Clients may cancel their hosting subscription at any time by providing written notice prior to the next billing cycle. Hosting services will remain active until the end of the paid billing period.
Failure to maintain an active hosting subscription may result in website suspension or removal from the hosting environment.
4. Maintenance & Add-On Services
This includes services such as maintenance plans, SEO setup, Google tools configuration, design adjustments, or other standalone services.

• Once work has commenced – no refunds are available
5. Social Media & Paid Advertising Retainers
Social media management and advertising services are billed monthly in advance.
Once a service month has commenced, retainers are non-refundable, regardless of usage, performance, or early cancellation.
Cancellation Terms
Retainer services may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Services will continue until the end of the notice period.
If a discounted rate was provided in exchange for a minimum commitment period, early cancellation may result in the standard rate being applied to completed service months.
Advertising spend paid directly to advertising platforms (such as Meta) is non-refundable and subject to the platform’s own refund policies.
6. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Protection)
In accordance with applicable consumer protection principles, clients may request cancellation within 5 business days of entering into an agreement, provided work has not yet commenced.
If work has already begun during this period, a refund may be issued minus the value of work completed and any administrative costs incurred.
7. Content Policy Violations
We do not support projects involving unlawful, harmful, misleading, or restricted content.
If a project is cancelled for this reason, a partial refund may be issued after deducting applicable cancellation fees and work completed.
8. Approved Work & Deliverables
Refunds will not be provided for:
• Work already approved by the client
• Completed staging or live websites
• Delivered digital assets
• Services that meet the agreed specifications
Approval (written or confirmed) indicates acceptance of the delivered work.
9. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
Administrative, transaction, or banking fees may be deducted where applicable.
10. Good Faith Resolution
We aim to handle all situations fairly and professionally. While this policy outlines our standard procedures, exceptional cases may be reviewed at our discretion.
